CaPital city partnership

Capital City Partnership is the anchor delivery body for Edinburgh’s employability strategy, working together to tackle inequality and poverty.

Our core values are partnership, excellence, integrity and innovation.

Our key tasks are to advise, support and develop the city’s Jobs Strategy and to contract, performance manage and improve outcomes from funded employability services.

We are also a key stakeholder and delivery partner in the Edinburgh and South East Scotland City Region Deal, supporting the Integrated Regional Employability and Skills (IRES) programme.

Joined Up for Business supports Edinburgh employers as part of the city's Job Strategy and is coordinated by the Employer Relationship team within Capital City Partnership.

We link employers to the relevant organisations that operate across the city to support job seekers and job changers, enabling access to a wider candidate pool outwith the standard job boards.

We advertise your vacancies to the network via our noticeboard, social media, newsletters and forums, extending the reach of your vacancy beyond the usual channels

Recruitment Guidance & coordinating high volume recruitment projects

We can offer guidance on local pay rates, practical advice on effective recruitment approaches and can provide support to coordinate high-volume recruitment projects to complement your approach.

Access to bespoke training for prospective employees

We provide sector-focused, tailored training in line with your requirements through our Vocational Training Framework (VTF).

Coordinating community job fairs and open days
