JobFit is part of the wider Joined Up for Business employer offer.
We understand that it can be a challenge to find the right people for your business. JobFit focuses on helping you with both entry-level recruitment and advanced, up-skilling of your workforce to complement your workforce development and succession planning.
We partner with training providers to deliver free, sector-specific skills training.
We collaborate with our Local Employability Partnership (LEP) partners and wider employability support provision across Edinburgh and the Edinburgh and South East City Regional Deal area which includes East Lothian, Fife, Midlothian, West Lothian and the Scottish Borders to support up-skilling to meet employer's needs and help people move into meaningful, sustainable employment.
JobFit combines vocational training with employability support, and links ready-for-work trainees with recruiting employers. Our courses are designed to complement your recruitment practice and be an effective, alternative way to recruit the right people into your business.
This programme is funded via The City of Edinburgh Council through the Scottish Government's No One Left Behind strategy.
