Edinburgh's Employer Recruitment Incentive (EERI)
Employers from all sectors are eligible for EERI and there is no restriction on the size of employer. You could receive up to £10,000 towards the cost of employing someone within a newly created job or apprenticeship.
Young Person's Job Guarantee funding
Managed by the King's Trust and the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce, the scheme offers eligible young people aged 18 to 24 a fully subsidised six-month paid job placement, with the Department for Work and Pensions covering 100% of eligible wage costs for 25 hours per week at the relevant minimum wage.
Employers will receive support throughout the placement, including recruitment, job matching and ongoing in-work support provided by The King’s Trust and their consortium partners.
The New Flexible Workforce Development Fund
The New Flexible Workforce Development Fund (FWDF) is a Scottish Government initiative that enables employers to access up to £15,000 of funding towards training for employees earning less than £33,000 per year.
Innovation Vouchers
An opportunity for organisations to secure funding up to £7,500 to help introduce a new business element or streamline internal processes such as workforce development.
Export Grants
A grant of up to £2,000 is available to provide the funding you need to design and develop new products and services to meet the needs of new or existing international markets.
The Export Grant is administered through Business Gateway and funded through The UK Shared Prosperity Fund and City of Edinburgh Council.
Employer Fund - Integrated Employer Engagement (IEE)
Operates annually and is a small grant fund of £500-1000 per business. The fund is small business support for job growth, stability or creation and is available across the Edinburgh and South East region.
