The Vocational Training Framework (VTF) provides sector focused training and employability support across Edinburgh and the wider Edinburgh & East Scotland City Regional Deal (ESESCRD) which includes Midlothian, East Lothian, Fife, Scottish Borders and West Lothian.
VTF offers up-skilling and progression opportunities for individuals 16+ supporting those seeking employment and those in employment but facing insecure work or in-work poverty.
The VTF covers a multitude of key industry sectors, one of which is Green Skills, which can be tailored to the specific skills and requirements of the organisation.
Each course, regardless of sector, includes a Green Skills module to support new employees think about the changes and positive impact they can make on a personal basis and how to apply this to a business context.
